Contrology- Pilates

  • Contrology Pilates is the original practice developed by Joseph Pilates. It focuses on the 6 principles:

    Centering
    Concentration
    Control
    Precision
    Breath
    Flow

    Classes can incorporate the use of a reformer and or tower, mat work, split pedal Exo Chair, free weights, kettle ball, bender ball, Pilates rings, and resistance bands.

    Classes are tailored to the Goals of the client and the outcome they wish to achieve.

    Pilates classes are adaptable and made to fit “EVERYBODY” from those recovering from injury or living with a disability to elite athletes.

GYROTONIC® Method

  • GYROTONIC® Method

    The Gyrotonic Method is an original and unique movement method that addresses the entire person by opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion, and improving strength and movement efficiency. With Gyrotonic exercises, each movement flows into the next, allowing the joints to move through a natural range of motion without jarring or compression. These carefully crafted sequences create balance, efficiency, strength, and flexibility.

    The Gyrotonic Method utilizes specialized equipment to guide, assist, and challenge the exerciser.

    People from all walks of life take Gyrotonic classes, including fitness enthusiasts, senior citizens, accomplished athletes, and people recovering from an injury or living with a disability. Gyrotonic exercises help athletes improve their performance and rehabilitation clients recover more quickly and fully post-injury.

    The Gyrotonic Method is practiced in group or private classes under the instruction of a qualified Gyrotonic Trainer.

    Specialized Equipment

    The human body is designed to work as one harmonious system, to follow arcing and spiraling paths of motion, and to transition from one movement to the next smoothly and efficiently. Gyrotonic Method creator, Juliu Horvath, designed a specialized line of equipment around these natural movement patterns. Because Gyrotonic equipment is highly adjustable, it can be customized to fit each person's unique physique and ability, adapting for things such as height, arm/leg length, and range of motion.

Barre Above®

  • Barre Above® blends the latest exercise science with the principles of the Lotte Burke method (the genesis of the Barre movement) delivering a fusion of ballet, pilates, yoga, and strength training in each workout. Designed for a wide range of fitness levels, ages, and bodies, complete with progressions so those new to fitness feel successful their first time and seasoned Barre enthusiasts will always feel challenged. Class formats are completely customizable to match your specific needs

TRX® Resistance Training

  • Pilates TRX uses TRX suspension training equipment and Pilates techniques. It incorporates core strengthening, flexibility, and body stability exercises. The TRX suspension system adds instability to the workout, which forces increased muscle engagement and balance; Squats, lunges, low & high rows, planks, pushups, bridges, and high-interval movements can be incorporated into the workout so that you can build strength according to your body type, and goals. TRX may be tailored to all fitness levels from beginner to advanced athletic.

We understand life is busy, so we think you should have the freedom to pick your Private sessions as needed based on your availability to attend classes each month. Purchase only what you know you can commit to as credits do expire based on the package chosen.

    1 Duo Session credit: $45.00*
    *Duo price is per person- each party must have their own credit

    Credit must be used in 30 days from purchase. Non-transferable. Late show/NO show policy applies

    Drop in class options or single sessions are great for :

    ~those whom want to audition me and my personality and teaching style

    ~those who may not be ready to commit to one of the movement methods we offer that they wish to try out.

    ~for those who are visiting town & want to work out while on vacation

    ~when you need one or a few more sessions added to your package.

    *Prices are per person - your duo partner must purchase their own credits to take classes with you; classes must be on same day and time. 30 days to use your credits.

Pricing:

All prices are listed above and on our booking page. We DO NOT charge anyone a registration fee to take classes with us. There is also no tax added on to our services.

Contracts:

We DO NOT have long term contract commitments. We understand that life happens and that we all need flexibility from time to time. We advise clients to purchase what they know they can commit too at that time and in the event you need or want more session you can purchase them as needed. If you know you will be leaving for a vacation or work trip we advise you to purchase only what you can use before the credits expire for that month.

Booking classes or sessions:

12 hours advanced booking is required for all classes & private sessions. If you are using credits to purchase please book the sessions as soon as possible, as all bookings are 1st come 1st serve. Re-book or cancel as necessary. Certain time slots are very popular and can be the 1st to go.

Late or Missed Private Sessions:

You agree to provide The CORE Movement Studio and or the Instructor at least 12 hours’ notice if you need to cancel any sessions. If you fail to give 12 hours’ notice, you agree to forfeit that booked session.

If you are more than 10 minutes late to a scheduled private or Duo session without prior notice (calling, emailing, or texting the studio) or are a “NO SHOW” to a booked private or Duo session you will forfeit that class.

DUO’s:

If your DUO Partner needs to cancel and or fails to show up to their booked session you have 2 options:

 1. You may cancel within the time-frame allowance and re-book together at a later date OR, 

2. You may keep the booked session but only receive a 30-minute single-person private for the pre-paid duo price or upgrade to a single-hour private session and pay an additional $42 fee.

Re-booking:

You are welcome to reschedule your bookings anytime up to 12 hours before the class is scheduled. If you try to reschedule within the 12-hour window, it will be considered late notice and will lose that credit and forfeit that session.

Payment:

Our preferred method of payment is Zelle. Please text or email us letting us know you wish to use this option before booking / paying through PocketSuite . We can email you a separate invoice.

If you will be using a Credit Card or Debit Card, please purchase your credits on the PocketSuite booking link throughout the website. Please NOTE there is a 3% automatic surcharge added to your invoice if you choose to use this payment method option.

Payment is due immediately after receiving an invoice from us. Invoice emails are sent to the email account you used to register for classes on our PocketSuite booking page. Receipts will be emailed after payment.

All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. Expiration dates can NOT be extended.

*Please purchase only what credits you know you will use. Packages and “Class” Packs are discounted for those who seek regular class attendance . Drop in class options or single classes are available for those whom want to audition me and my teaching style, or those who may not be ready to commit to the movement method they want to try, for those who are visiting town and want to work out while on vacation, or if you need another session added to your package.
